Studies show the vital importance of giving students a Christ-centered environment that incorporates biblical principals and good sound doctrine in a continued education program. "Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone and He is the Author and Finisher of our faith" and should be the foundation of a believer's academic environment. Christian education is a crucial part of equipping the next generation to go out into the world and shine their light. Secular educational institutions and the environments surrounding them have been known to shipwreck a person's faith. A learning environment needs to set the stage to reinforce the biblical principals children have learned from early childhood.

PTG wants to promote excellence in Christian education by exploring how students grow academically and spiritually and therefore fulfill God's will in their lives.

PTG will produce a special five-part series on "Building a Solid Foundation," and the show will feature those academic institutions on the cutting edge in providing an education with a biblical worldview. Each segment will be the subject of a five-to-seven minute segment written in feature-story format and presented in a visually exciting way. The shows will air in summer 2005.
