/Television News Articles/ - DEERFIELD, BEACH, FL - August 02, 2006 - New Line Media Solutions is pleased to announce the selection of Camps Farthest Out for its innovative, educational television series, Today's Family. The organization will be featured in a segment on "Touching Hearts and Changing Lives."
Camps Farthest Out (CFO), based in Watkins Glen, NY, organizes Christian gatherings held in various locations throughout the United States and Canada. They host over 75 conferences, camps and retreats annually that challenge people to become passionate about their faith and their commitment to living fully in the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
CFO is an opportunity to experience an interdenominational Christian environment. Attending a CFO event enables Christians to become more balanced spiritually, mentally, and physically, to train to become an "An Athlete of the Spirit," to learn to pray and discover the power of prayer, to have fellowship with others, and to discover more about themselves and their relationship with Jesus.
These events can best be characterized as a spiritual training ground and a time apart from the routine of everyday life. Privacy is respected, oneness in spirit is encouraged, and sharing is abundant. Each participant returns to their home inspired and enthusiastic about their renewed faith.
CFO has branched out with CFOI, an international organization with over 120
camps, retreats and prayer groups in 24 countries, including Africa, Europe, East and South Asia, Latin America and the South Pacific, and The United Prayer Tower (UPT), a year-round prayer ministry of CFO and CFOI.
"Since 1930 CFO has been providing a place for touching hearts and changing lives," stated Debbie Thomas, Executive Director. "Attending a CFO event will renew and make more meaningful your walk with Jesus Christ."
As Glenn Clark, founder of CFO explained, "The Camps Farthest Out are dedicated to the purpose of discovering the wholeness of that abundant life which Christ promised."
