Cancer patients are living an average of five years longer than they did in the 1970's, and while this is good news, this life extension is very costly due to the high cost of treatment and medications. Now in its 21st year,The Cancer Fund of America (CFA) works to provide aid to indigent patients of this devastating disease. Each year 1.3 million people are diagnosed with cancer.
