Revolution Entertainment sees football players, ghosts and the occasional Ouija board.
Revolution Entertainment gives first clues to the company's newest slate of upcoming projects.
TORRANCE, CA, November 17, 2008 /Television News Articles/ -- On Friday November 14th, representatives from Revolution Entertainment unveiled plans for their new slate of projects that the company will start active development for, starting in 2009. Some of Revolution's newest projects will include:
1st and Ten, a sports themed drama that is being developed for pay-cable television, in which the pilot episode has been written and members of the production team are actively pursuing deals for the show. The show is set to be filmed in and around the Los Angeles area for next season's television line up.
Glory Days, a feature length film which centers on a minor league baseball team in Alaska and their one last chance for championship glory.
Did I Die?, a supernatural thriller being developed for an as yet unnamed studio.
And finally an untitled WWII project that focuses heavily on the fighter pilots of the war and will utilize state of the art CGI and animation.
Alexander Galben, a public relations consultant with the company hinted at several other rumored projects that Revolution had been rumored to be attached to, but would only comment, officially, on these four projects. "The landscape of the entertainment industry has changed tremendously over the past few years. No longer can you bankroll a movie on the talent you have attached to it. You need to have a good product to display and the demand for those products are dictated by the viewing public. Luckily for us, we have enough talented and creative people in house to keep our projects fresh and innovative, so that we can consistently turn around ideas that people want to see. To remain competitive and viable in the industry today, production houses and studios are going to have to listen to the public demand when it comes to their entertainment dollar, and heed to their demands in order to stay productive."
No further information was available on the company's major feature "Her Vietnam" which has been rumored to be in negotiations with several high profile directors for some time now.
