Marlo Productions Signs Deal For Rights To Develop New Music Based Reality Show

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marlo Productions, the Burbank, California based feature film production company, which is a part of the newly formed studio, Marlo Entertainment, has inked a deal securing the principal rights for a new music based reality show that the production company will develop and produce with the intent of getting on the air by the summer of 2010.

The new show, which company executives describe as a mix between "Big Brother," "American Idol," and 'Survivor" will be an elimination program about people trying to make it in the music business while living in the same house and competing with one another while trying to prove their musical skills.

"We are very excited about this show," said Earnest Harris, one of the Marlo Productions producers on the project. "We think this show is going to be a huge hit. It has all the right elements for success - celebrity, audience participation, music, live feeds, competition - it's all there. We can't wait to get started with auditions for the show."

The idea for the show came from Dominique "Piermid" Wilson, who is a music producer and has worked with such musical talents as R. Kelly. Wilson will remain a consultant on the show and also be featured as one of the judges.

It has not yet been determined on which channel the show will air as the producers, who include Dianna Perales Harris and Larry Paul Meese, both executives with Marlo Entertainment, consider their options and the best fit for the show. But plans are for the show to be in production by the beginning of 2010 and to be on the air by next summer .
