Hollywood Leading Man Lou Diamond Phillips to appear on NYC TV PROFILES
Host Mickey Burns interviews actor Lou Diamond Phillips about his three decade career, his family and his passion for playing poker.

STATEN ISLAND, NY, October 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since gaining attention with his portrayal of Richie Valens in "La Bamba", Phillips has starred in over 80 films - including "Young Guns", "Courage Under Fire and "Stand And Deliver".

Along the way, he has developed the reputation as one of the hardest working actors in show business. His latest project is with the SyFy Channel and it's newest chapter of the popular "Stargate Universe" series - where Phillips plays the lead character "Colonel Telford".

In 1996 Phillips demonstrated that his range should not be underestimated, as he earned a Tony Award Nomination for his lead role in a revival of "The King And I" on Broadway.
