Alester Owens, President and CEO of 225 Productions/Filmworks boasts an impressive 26 years of professional experience in the film and music industry. Lauded for his expertise in film production and music composition, he has been honored with a myriad of awards including; The Telly Award for Documentaries and World culture films (11 times), The Communicator Award (6 times), The AVA Award (3 times), The Videographer Award (2 times), The International Academy of Visual Arts' Davey Award (2 times) The Remi Award, The Pegasus Award, The Goldie Film Award, The Horizon Award, The Hermes Creative Award, The Omni Award and The Marcom Award. Throughout his prodigious career he has been praised for his creativity and perseverance.

Today Mr. Owens lends his talents to a Global Media production company providing film and television services for the networks.
